70th Anniversary event 1940-2010

Osterley Park, West London

July 10th and 11th 2010

La Columna and a number of Home Guard re-enactment groups will be putting on an event to remember the opening of the Osterley Park Home Guard School in 1940.

This school was set up by, amongst others, International Brigade veterans to combat the threat of the Nazi invasion of Britain.

We are hoping to recreate the school for the weekend in the grounds of Osterley Park (where it actually happened) and conduct class, seminars and displays in the New ways of War!
