Osterley through the agesMulti Period Event Osterley Park, London Saturday 19th to Sunday 20th July 2008Home Guard Training School 1940La Columna will be recreating, with the help of fellow Home Guard re-enactors, the Osterley training School set up and run by ex-interantional Brigaders in 1940. On the very ground that this happened we will be putting the Home guard through their paces and teaching them a trick of two picked up in Spain.

Anniversary event Mora D'Ebre and Fayon, Spain Saturday 26th to Sunday 27th July 2008Anniversary crossing of the Ebro RiverTo remember the 70th anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Ebro in July 1938, members of La Columna will be joining our Spanish (and hopefully other international) Comrades to recreate the crossings. On the Saturday this will be at Mora D'Ebre and on the Sunday at Fayon.
